Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the assigned kitchen section and preparing high-quality café dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, hygiene, and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present Continental and café-style dishes as per standard recipes
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Manage the assigned kitchen section independently
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and presentation
- Prepare dishes such as pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, wraps, and breakfast items
- Coordinate with the Café Manager, Baristas, and service team for timely order execution
- Monitor freshness and quality of ingredients
- Control food wastage, portion sizes, and raw material consumption
- Assist in menu development and introduction of new café dishes
- Guide and supervise Commis and kitchen helpers
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment
- Follow FSSAI, food safety, and company SOPs
- Handle peak-hour operations efficiently

Skills Required:





- Strong knowledge of Continental and café cuisine
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and food presentation
- Strong mise en place and section management skills
- Knowledge of food costing and portion control
- Good team coordination and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume orders
- Robust attention to hygiene and quality

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in Continental/Café kitchens
- Previous experience as CDP / Demi Chef / Café Chef preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in cafés, bistros, restaurants, hotels, resorts, or premium QSRs
- Experience handling modern café menus and high-volume service is an added advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
