About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, handle statutory compliance, and support management with financial reports and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Maintain and verify ledger accounts, cash book, bank book, and vouchers.
- Handle Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Handle GST-related accounting, including purchase/sales entries, GST reconciliation, and coordination for GST returns.
- Maintain proper records for TDS, TCS, and other applicable statutory deductions.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports for management.
- Manage invoicing, credit notes, debit notes, and purchase bills.
- Perform regular ledger reconciliation with customers, vendors, and distributors.
- Coordinate with auditors, CA, and other financial consultants whenever required.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare ageing reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Software & Technical Skills





- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Zoho Books will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, filters, sorting, and basic reporting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliation, and accounting procedures.
- Ability to work with accounting software and maintain digital financial records.

Required Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and practices.
- Practical experience in Tally Prime and day-to-day accounting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to independently handle accounting responsibilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.

Preferred Candidate

- Experienced and technically strong in accounting

- A self-starter who can independently manage accounting work
- Good at reconciliation and identifying discrepancies
- Comfortable coordinating with management, clients, vendors, banks, and auditors
- Willing to take ownership of accounting activities

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
