Position Overview

KOVA Fasteners Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil who can manage and execute civil construction and infrastructure projects at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction, project planning, execution, contractor management, and industrial projects.

Knowledge of the fastener manufacturing industry and industrial plant requirements will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and execute civil construction projects from start to completion.
- Handle construction and development work related to factory buildings, production areas, warehouses, offices, foundations, roads, drainage, and other industrial infrastructure.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with civil contractors, architects, consultants, engineers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.
- Supervise construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Review BOQ, estimates, drawings, structural designs, and material requirements.
- Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.
- Manage contractors, labour, manpower, equipment, and construction resources.
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and savings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards,



and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Production, Maintenance, Tool Room, Purchase, Finance, and Management.
- Identify and resolve construction-related technical and site issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare project progress reports for management.
- Manage project documentation, measurements, contractor bills, work orders, and completion reports.
- Ensure proper handover and commissioning of completed civil works.

Fastener Industry / Manufacturing Knowledge

The candidate should preferably have an understanding of fastener manufacturing plants and industrial infrastructure.

Knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

- Tool room and production-area requirements

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of civil construction and industrial projects.
- Positive understanding of RCC, structural work, foundations, flooring, roads, drainage, and building construction.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Contractor management and billing.




- Project planning and scheduling.
- Cost estimation and budget control.
- Knowledge of construction materials and quality standards.
- MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and ERP knowledge will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil project management.
- Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing plants, factories, warehouses, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Candidates who have independently handled construction projects from planning to completion will be highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in civil project management, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with proven experience in handling construction projects independently.

Fastener industry knowledge will be an added advantage, particularly for candidates who understand the requirements of a fastener manufacturing plant and can coordinate civil projects without affecting ongoing production.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards
Employment Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
