About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Physics Foundation Trainer to deliver Mathematics training for students from Grades VI–X under the ADEM Foundation Program.

The trainer will be responsible for developing strong mathematical fundamentals, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, while gradually introducing students to competitive-examination-oriented approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Mathematics classes for Grades VI–X as per the ADEM academic curriculum.
- Build strong conceptual understanding rather than focusing only on textbook completion.
- Teach topics such as Number Systems, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics, Trigonometry and Logical Reasoning according to grade level.
- Introduce higher-order thinking and application-based problems appropriate to students' learning levels.
- Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans and engaging classroom sessions.
- Use activity-based, visual, digital and real-life examples to make Mathematics easier and more interesting.
- Conduct worksheets, assignments, quizzes, assessments and mock tests.
- Conduct regular doubt-clearing, revision and remedial sessions.
- Identify slow learners and provide additional academic support.
- Challenge advanced learners with higher-order and competitive-exam-oriented questions.
- Monitor student attendance, academic performance and learning progress.




- Maintain accurate academic records and submit daily/weekly reports as required.
- Coordinate with school authorities, school teachers and the ADEM academic team.
- Participate in faculty training, academic meetings, workshops and curriculum-development activities.
- Support students preparing for Olympiads, scholarship examinations and future JEE/competitive examinations.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Be willing to travel to assigned schools within the Thirupathur region as required.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc./M.Sc. Mathematics, B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent qualification with strong Mathematics fundamentals.
- B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with strong Mathematics knowledge and good teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Experience

- 0–5 years of teaching/training experience.
- Freshers with excellent Mathematics fundamentals and communication skills are welcome.
- Experience in CBSE/State Board, Foundation, Olympiad, IIT/JEE or competitive-exam coaching will be an added advantage.
