Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Alternative Backgrounds: Retired defence or military personnel with strong experience in residential or administrative management may also be considered.
Additional Certifications: Qualifications in facility management, safety and security, first aid, or emergency response would be an added advantage.
Professional Experience
Relevant Experience: At least 5–8 years of experience in hostel administration, student affairs, residential management, or general facility management.
Institutional Experience: Previous experience in an educational institution, university, residential school,
or educational trust is generally preferred.
Key Skills and Personal Qualities
Communication Skills: Good verbal and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents and handle student concerns or grievances.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computers and commonly used administrative software.
Leadership and Discipline: Ability to maintain discipline, manage staff, and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the hostel.
On-Campus Residency: Willingness to stay on campus or within the hostel premises on a full time basis, as the role involves overseeing operations, student welfare, safety, and discipline around the clock.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
