Job Summary

We are looking for a Material Segregation Supervisor to oversee the identification, sorting, and segregation of aluminium and plastic materials according to grades and specifications. The role is responsible for maintaining material purity, reducing contamination and rejection, improving recovery rates, and supervising the segregation team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the segregation of aluminium and plastic materials based on grades and specifications.
- Identify different types of plastics such as HDPE, LDPE, PP, PET, PVC, and other relevant materials.
- Identify and classify different aluminium grades and material types.
- Ensure proper sorting and segregation to prevent contamination and maintain material purity.
- Monitor segregation processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce material wastage.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Recycling teams for smooth material flow.
- Conduct regular inspections of segregated materials to ensure quality and specification compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of material yield, scrap percentage, rejection rates, and recovery rates.
- Analyze rejection and contamination levels and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Train and guide workers on proper material identification, segregation, handling, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, quality, and company standards.




- Monitor manpower allocation and ensure effective utilization of the segregation team.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports related to segregation performance and material recovery.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in material segregation, recycling, scrap management, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Practical knowledge of plastic identification and aluminium grades.
- Understanding of recycling processes, material recovery, scrap handling, and waste management.
- Experience in supervising shop-floor/workforce activities will be an advantage.

- Ability to work in a production/recycling environment and meet operational targets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
