The Global Information Systems (GIS) team enables Lam's digital transformation by delivering innovative technology solutions that support global business operations, supply chain excellence, and operational scalability.

The impact you’ll make

As a Business Systems Analyst at Lam, you'll analyze complex business problems and craft automated system solutions for Global Logistics responsible for driving transportation management capabilities across a rapidly growing global manufacturing and distribution network. You'll bridge gaps, provide technical expertise to translate business requirements into functional system specifications. Your contributions within dynamic cross-functional teams are essential in supporting Lam’s Digital transformation journey.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, transportation providers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and technical teams to design, implement, and support SAP Transportation Management solutions that improve transportation planning, freight execution, logistics visibility, carrier collaboration, and freight cost management.

This role offers the prospect to influence strategic transportation initiatives, support global SAP S/4HANA transformations, and help establish scalable logistics processes supporting Lam's continued growth worldwide.

What you’ll do

- Lead business analysis, solution design, and configuration activities for SAP Transportation Management (TM).

- Support transportation planning, carrier selection, tendering, freight execution, and freight settlement processes.

- Implement and support SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L),



including carrier onboarding and collaboration.

- Partner with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to improve logistics execution and visibility.

- Design and support integrations between SAP TM, EWM, S/4HANA, Finance, and external logistics systems.

- Gather business requirements and develop functional specifications, process flows, test plans, and training documentation.

- Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.

- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across global transportation operations.

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or related field.

- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 5 years focused on SAP Transportation Management.

- Experience in transportation planning, carrier collaboration, freight execution, and freight settlement.

- Experience working with global logistics organizations and third-party logistics providers.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, for various levels and audiences.

Preferred qualifications

- SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM experience.Hands-on experience with BN4L and carrier collaboration.

- TM integration experience with SAP EWM, Finance, and GTS.

- Freight Settlement and Transportation Charge Management expertise.





- Experience supporting global manufacturing or high-tech supply chains.

- Participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations.

- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the perks of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘In office Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
