SSAB & Associates LLP, Chartered Accountants is looking for Accounts & Tax Executive to join our team.
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

About the Role
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Tax Executives to support our client servicing and tax compliance functions.
The role will involve practical exposure to accounting, GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, compliance, and client coordination across multiple assignments. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a CA firm, be comfortable with managing multiple clients and interested in developing strong practical knowledge of Indian direct and indirect taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts for multiple clients using Tally/accounting software.
Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and support for GSTR-9/9C.
Reconcile GSTR-2B/2A with books of accounts.
Assist with ITC reconciliation and RCM compliance.
Handle TDS computation, deduction, and return filing.
Assist in preparing responses to GST departmental notices and basic litigation documentation.




Coordinate directly with clients for data collection, query resolution, and follow-ups.
Support finalization of accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit working papers.
Coordinate with the assessment and litigation team on assigned matters.
Track statutory due dates and ensure timely completion of client compliances.
Stay updated with relevant GST and Income Tax provisions and regulatory changes.

Requirements:
Candidates with a B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter qualification are eligible to apply.
2 years of relevant experience.
Positive working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST and Income Tax portals.
Practical exposure to GST compliance, TDS, and basic accounting finalization.
