Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager to oversee daily service operations at our authorized Tata Motors facility in Korba. In this role, you will lead the technician and service advisory team, maximize workshop productivity and bay utilization, maintain strict Tata Motors quality standards, and achieve monthly revenue and customer satisfaction (CSI) targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Operations & Workflow: Manage day-to-day workshop throughput, bay allocation, and technician scheduling to optimize turnaround time (TAT) and same-day delivery rates.
- Target & Revenue Achievement: Drive monthly targets for labour revenue, periodic maintenance service (PMS), running repairs, and value-added services (VAS).
- Quality & Customer Satisfaction: Monitor vehicle inspection standards to minimize rework; resolve escalated customer grievances to maintain top-tier Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI/CSAT) scores.
- Job Card & Inventory Management: Oversee pending, accidental, and breakdown vehicle status.



Coordinate with the spare parts and warranty teams to ensure timely parts issuance and warranty claim settlement.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise Service Advisors, floor supervisors, and technicians; review daily/weekly KPIs, identify skill gaps, and conduct technical/SOP training.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure 100% adherence to Tata Motors standard operating procedures (SOPs), environmental/safety norms, and statutory regulations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance MIS reports for management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Degree / Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years in automobile workshop operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity (Workshop Manager / Service Manager / Floor In-Charge).
- OEM Experience: Prior experience in an authorized automobile dealership is mandatory (Tata Motors Dealership experience is strongly preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and service diagnostic tools.
- Licensing: Valid 4-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
