About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of AWS cloud infrastructure and hybrid network environments.

The role will focus on building secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure and supporting connectivity between AWS environments and physical locations. You will work closely with SRE/DevOps, Platform Engineering, Network, and Building Technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure and networking environments.
- Configure and manage AWS networking components including:
- VPCs
- Subnets
- Route tables and routing
- Security Groups
- Network ACLs (NACLs)
- Design and maintain secure site-to-site VPN and IPSec connectivity between AWS and physical locations.
- Support hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity across multiple locations.
- Implement infrastructure patterns focused on scalability, network segmentation, security, and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and network issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with SRE/DevOps and Platform teams to improve infrastructure automation, reliability, and resilience.
- Support secure integrations with identity,



payment, access control, and other enterprise systems.
- Improve infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Contribute to infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning.
- Maintain technical documentation covering architecture, configurations, standards, and operational procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, platform modernization initiatives, and technical planning.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, or a related engineering role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and networking services.
- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- Routing
- Firewalls
- VPN/IPSec
- Network security
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises network connectivity.
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and network issues.
- Good understanding of cloud security and network segmentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
- Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or equivalent, with sufficient ability to communicate in a qualified work environment.




- Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
- Experience supporting multi-site or distributed infrastructure environments.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working with SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering teams.
- Experience collaborating with Network or Building Technology teams.
- Experience with cloud monitoring and observability solutions.
- Experience contributing to infrastructure architecture, technical standards, or long-term technology roadmaps.
