About the role
This is a software engineering role on an AI product used by finance and accounting teams. The work covers the backend services and the front end that finance teams use day to day.
What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services in Node.js and TypeScript
- Build the front end using Vue.js, React.js or Angular
- Design and query SQL schemas in MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Write tests and deploy the features you build
- Debug and fix issues reported by customers
What we are looking for
We need people who are self sufficient. You should be able to take an unfamiliar problem, explore it on your own, work out the approach and solve it without step by step direction.
- 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Solid expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js backend technologies
- Familiarity with a frontend framework such as Vue.js, React.js or Angular
- Knowledge of SQL technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Comfortable working on both Windows and Linux
- A GitHub profile we can look at, with real collaboration history on shared repositories

- Understanding of machine learning, natural language processing or LangChain

You will work on an AI product for finance and accounting teams, across the backend and the interfaces finance teams actually use. You own features end to end, from the data model through to the screen a controller opens on a Monday morning.
What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services in Node.js and TypeScript
- Build the front end finance teams work in, using Vue.js, React.js or Angular
- Design and query SQL schemas in MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Ship features from spec to production, including the tests and the deploy
- Take feedback straight from finance teams and turn it into product
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js backend technologies
- Familiarity with a frontend framework such as Vue.js, React.js or Angular
- Knowledge of SQL technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Comfortable working on both Windows and Linux
- Self sufficient. You can pick up a problem you have not seen before, explore it on your own and finish it without being walked through every step

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
