About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Performance Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our enterprise applications by designing and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies.

You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver high-performing solutions that provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.
- Create and maintain robust performance test frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Conduct end-to-end Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



and recommend performance optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate performance testing into Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare performance assessment reports and communicate findings with actionable recommendations.
- Continuously improve performance engineering processes, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
- Strong understanding of software performance engineering principles and methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on expertise with JMeter, LoadRunner, LogicMonitor, and Grafana.
- Experience testing REST APIs and SOAP Web Services using SoapUI.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and profiling tools such as Dynatrace and Fiddler.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Experience performing end-to-end infrastructure performance analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for enterprise web applications.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated performance testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
