What are we looking for?

To support the Investments Front Office in the timely, accurate and compliant execution of equity market transactions across portfolios, in line with approved investment strategy, regulatory guidelines, internal dealing procedures and best-execution standards. The role requires strong market awareness, disciplined execution, coordination with fund managers, and robust post-trade follow-through with operations, risk and compliance teams.

What does the job entail?

- Execute equity trades within approved limits, ensuring price discipline, liquidity assessment, low impact cost, and confidentiality.

- Perform pre‑trade checks, maintain audit trails, and support post‑trade confirmations, allocation, settlement, and break‑resolution.

- Share market colour, flow/liquidity insights, broker updates, and maintain watchlists, execution trackers

- Maintain complete documentation, uphold information‑barrier norms, and coordinate closely with brokers, operations, and compliance teams.

- Contribute to enhancements in dealing workflow, controls, automation, and reporting

- Support the CIO and Fund Manager through preparation of MIS, dashboards, analytics, and presentations for internal committees, board reviews, regulatory interactions, and external stakeholders.





- Conduct peer analysis across schemes and managers, track competitor positioning, and generate comparative insights for decision‑making.

Work Experience

- 7-10 years of relevant experience in equity dealing, institutional broking, buy-side dealing, portfolio execution support or capital markets operations with strong exposure to listed equity markets.

Essential Qualification

- Post-graduation, CFA/FRM/NISM/CA/MBA certifications or equivalent capital market qualifications will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of equity market structure, order types, liquidity, execution mechanics, surveillance expectations, settlement processes, corporate actions and regulatory dealing controls. High attention to detail, integrity, speed, discretion, communication skills and ability to operate effectively in live market conditions are essential. Proficient in Excel (analytics, dashboards, data handling) and PowerPoint (explicit, decision‑ready presentations). Hands‑on ability to leverage evolving AI technologies and automation tools to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and generate deeper execution‑related insights.
