We are seeking an experienced Marine Mechanical Technician / Fitter (preferably ITI certified) to support our naval and marine equipment repair operations. The ideal candidate will have strong core skills in marine machinery overhauls, engine/deck equipment maintenance, and hands-on expertise in precision laser alignment for rotating machinery (motors, pumps, compressors, and propulsion shafts).

Key Responsibilities

- Precision Laser Alignment
- Perform high-precision shaft and couplings laser alignment on rotating equipment (motors, compressors, pumps, generators, and drive systems).
- Measure, record, and evaluate runout, thermal growth tolerances, and soft foot conditions before and after machinery mounting.
- Prepare detailed alignment reports and tolerance logs following alignment operations.
- Marine Machinery Maintenance & Repair
- Overhaul, inspect,



repair, and reassemble marine auxiliary machinery, pumps, valves, compressors, and mechanical seals.
- Perform precision fitting, shimming, leveling, and mechanical installation of heavy machinery on board vessels or shop floor setups.
- Execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance during dry-dockings and afloat repairs.
- Troubleshooting & Testing
- Diagnose mechanical vibrations, misalignment issues, and bearing wear in rotating machinery.
- Assist in trial runs, operational load testing, and performance validation post-overhaul.
