Job Summary

The Physiotherapist at Nahla Centre for Child Development is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physiotherapy interventions for children with developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical challenges. The role involves working collaboratively with children, parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s functional independence, mobility, and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments and identify the child's physical, motor, and functional needs.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and therapeutic goals.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to children with developmental delays and other physical or neurological conditions.
- Work with children with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, motor coordination difficulties, and other developmental or physical challenges.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, coordination, posture, mobility, gait, gross motor skills, and functional independence.
- Monitor the child's progress regularly and modify treatment plans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate assessment reports, treatment notes, progress reports, and other clinical documentation.
- Educate and guide parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and strategies to support the child's development.
- Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Special Educators, Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, reassessments, and treatment planning.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, child-friendly,



and professional therapy environment.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all client information and follow professional ethics and organizational policies.
- Ensure that therapy equipment and materials are used safely and maintained appropriately.
- Participate in awareness programs, camps, parent training sessions, and other activities organized by Nahla Centre for Child Development.
- Complete all assigned reports and documentation within the required time frame.
- Maintain professional communication with parents, colleagues, and management.
- Stay updated with current physiotherapy practices, child development approaches, and professional training.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration or license, where applicable.
- Experience in pediatric physiotherapy or child development services is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and an interest in pediatric rehabilitation may also be considered.

Reporting

The Physiotherapist will report to the Clinical/Department Head and Management of Nahla Centre for Child Development and will be expected to follow all organizational policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
