PLEASE READ FIRST: this is a HANDS-ON structural crew role. You must have personally built truss, staging, scaffold or structural pandal work. Office and design-only profiles will not be shortlisted.

ABOUT US

Alangkaar (Raja's Catering & Alangkaar Weddings) is one of Singapore's leading Indian wedding and events groups. We are building a permanent expert events division: decoration, decorative lighting, sound, stage and truss, ceiling decoration for hotels and shopping centres, tentage, and equipment rental.

THE JOB

- Build stages, truss structures and frame systems for weddings, concerts and shopping malls

- Ceiling decoration rigging in shopping centres and hotel ballrooms — working at height on scaffold or tower, loads secured properly, every time

- Load, transport, install, strike — fixed venue timings

- Maintain the truss and staging rental stock

YOU MUST HAVE

- 3+ years truss / staging / scaffold or structural pandal work

- Comfortable working at height; understand load and securing

- Able to read a straightforward structure or layout drawing

- Weekend and evening work is the job

SALARY — SET BY YOUR EXPERIENCE

Fixed SGD 900 to SGD 1,100 per month (basic + allowances), starting point decided by proven experience. Plus overtime at 1.5x past 44 hours/week. Realistic monthly earnings:



SGD 1,250 to SGD 1,600 (approx. Rs 80,000 to 1.02 lakh). Pay reviewed after your first 6 months.

SKILLS TEST (SEC-K) — REQUIRED BEFORE TRAVEL

Selected candidates must pass the Skills Evaluation Certificate SEC(K) test — trade: METAL SCAFFOLDING — at the BCA-appointed Overseas Testing Centre in CHENNAI, INDIA before the Singapore Work Permit is issued. THE COMPANY BOOKS YOUR TEST SLOT AND PAYS THE FULL TEST FEE. You only attend on the booked date and pass the written + practical test. Candidates outside Tamil Nadu: we book the nearest available centre and reimburse travel to the test.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
