An international fund administration firm is seeking a senior Investor Relations professional at Associate Director / Director level to join its Mumbai operation.

This is a leadership position within the alternative investment fund services ecosystem, with responsibility for investor communications, reporting and service delivery. You will oversee the Investor Relations function, maintain strong investor and client relationships, and collaborate closely with Fund Administration, Tax and Risk teams.

The opportunity is particularly suited to an experienced fund services professional looking to take broader ownership of investor servicing, team capability, controls and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead investor communications across financial statements, performance reports, newsletters and tax-related reporting.
- Oversee preparation and distribution of investor statements, contract notes, confirmation letters and related deliverables.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with investors and clients, ensuring timely resolution of enquiries and requests.
- Ensure investor reporting and communications comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor outstanding investor matters and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with Fund Administration and Tax teams on investor-related requirements.




- Provide training and guidance on Investor Relations procedures, controls and firm policies.
- Identify operational risks, escalate material matters and support appropriate risk evaluation.
- Drive process improvements across the Investor Relations function.
- Develop and maintain procedures and operating manuals where required.
- Oversee ad hoc projects and broader departmental initiatives.
- Support senior management on wider business and operational priorities as required.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience across Investor Relations, Fund Services, Finance or related functions.
- Significant experience within a fund administration / fund services environment.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments and investor servicing.
- Experience overseeing institutional investor communications and reporting.
- Strong client and stakeholder relationship management capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and improve processes.
- Good understanding of regulatory, operational and risk requirements within investor services.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
