About The Role
Manan Business Sales is expanding its franchise network across Australia and is looking for a senior, hiring-focused HR Manager to lead recruitment for one specific, business-critical role: the Franchise Partner / Business Broker Franchisee. This is the field professional who will personally meet business owners across Australia, build trust, present the franchise/brokerage proposition, and close franchise and business-sale deals directly with owners.
Unlike a generalist HR role, this position requires someone who has deep, hands-on experience hiring senior, target-driven, client-facing profiles — ideally from real estate, franchise sales, insurance, financial services, or business brokerage backgrounds — and who understands how to evaluate a candidate's ability to build relationships with business owners and close high-value, face-to-face deals.
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Partner Recruitment (Primary Focus)
- Own end-to-end recruitment for the Franchise Partner / Business Broker role across all target Australian cities and territories (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and beyond).
- Design and execute a sourcing strategy specifically for candidates capable of direct, in-person deal-making with business owners — not inside/tele-sales profiles.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through Indeed Employer Portal, LinkedIn, referral networks, and industry-specific channels (real estate, franchise associations, brokerage forums).
- Screen candidates specifically for face-to-face relationship-building skills, negotiation ability, business acumen, and comfort working independently in the field.
- Conduct structured HR interviews assessing prior experience in franchise sales, real estate, brokerage, or high-ticket B2B deal closure.
- Coordinate with founders/management on final hiring decisions, franchise-fit assessment, and onboarding of selected Franchise Partners.
HR Operations & Team Management
- Develop targeted job advertisements and interview frameworks specifically for franchise/broker hiring (distinct from standard sales or admin roles).
- Build onboarding and induction programs to get new Franchise Partners field-ready quickly, covering brand standards, valuation basics, CRM, and reporting.
- Track recruitment KPIs — pipeline volume, interview-to-offer ratio, time-to-hire, and franchise-partner retention — and report to leadership regularly.
- Maintain candidate records, offer documentation, franchise agreements coordination, and HR files for this recruitment vertical.
- Continuously refine hiring criteria based on the performance of past franchise hires to improve quality of future recruitment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12+ years of HR / Recruitment experience, with a significant portion spent hiring for B2B, real estate, franchise, insurance, or brokerage-style field/sales roles (Non-IT).
- Proven success recruiting candidates for roles that require direct, face-to-face client or business-owner engagement — not purely inside sales or call-centre hiring.
- Strong understanding of what makes a successful franchise partner/business broker: relationship-building, trust-building, negotiation, and closing ability.
- Hands-on experience with Indeed Employer Portal and other recruitment platforms; comfortable running high-volume, multi-region hiring drives.
- Excellent judgment in assessing candidates' entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision (franchise partners are semi-independent operators).
- Solid stakeholder management skills to work closely with founders/leadership on final hiring decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; prior experience working with Australian or other international clients/markets preferred.
- Target-oriented, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple open franchise territories/hiring pipelines simultaneously.
Work Requirements
- Fully remote position, based in India, hiring for Australia-based field roles.
- Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Melbourne Time, with a 1-hour break.
- Must be available on Google Meet throughout working hours, with camera ON for accountability and collaboration.
- Reliable high-speed internet, laptop/computer, webcam, and headset are mandatory.
- Comfortable working under screen-sharing/monitoring protocols as part of a remote-first team culture.
Required Documents
- Updated Resume
- Previous employment reference letters
- Salary slips from previous employment
- Employment contracts or experience proof (where available)
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a generalist HR position.
Success in this role is measured specifically by the quality of Franchise Partners hired — professionals who can walk into a business owner's office, build credibility within minutes, and close a franchise or brokerage deal in person. The ideal candidate has either recruited for this kind of role before, or has personally worked in a similar high-trust, deal-closing capacity (real estate, franchise sales, brokerage) and understands exactly what to look for.
How To Apply
Interested candidates should send their updated resume along with a brief note on their experience hiring for B2B, real estate, franchise, or brokerage-style roles to:

- If you were given 5 Australian territories and asked to recruit one strong Franchise Partner for each territory, what would your first 7 days of recruitment look like?
