Job Summary

AMC Super Specialty Hospital is looking for a System Administrator to manage and maintain the hospital’s IT infrastructure and day-to-day technical operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of servers, computers, printers, CCTV cameras, networking equipment, and other IT systems across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the server room, servers, and related IT infrastructure.
- Monitor server performance, storage, backups, and system availability.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
- Manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and other network-related issues.
- Provide technical support to hospital staff and departments.
- Install and maintain operating systems, software, antivirus, and security updates.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic IT security requirements.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, networking, CCTV, and other IT-related services.
- Maintain an inventory of IT hardware, software, and other equipment.
- Ensure regular data backup and support basic disaster-recovery requirements.




- Maintain proper documentation of IT assets, configurations, and service activities.
- Respond promptly to technical issues affecting hospital operations.
- Support hospital information systems and other technology-enabled services as required.
- Ensure IT systems remain operational with minimum downtime, particularly in critical hospital areas.

Eligibility & Skills

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in System Administration, IT Support, Network Administration, or a similar field.
- Good practical knowledge of servers and server-room operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for computers, printers, and networking equipment.
- Experience with CCTV/camera systems will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of networking, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and commonly used office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare workplace will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tirupur.
