Hiring for "Regional Manager – Loan Sanctioning " in a Bank.
Location-Mumbai
Responsible for managing regional loan sanctioning operations for Group Loan and SBAL, ensuring adherence to credit policies, effective coordination between field teams and HO, credit quality, audit compliance, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between field Loan Sanctioning Teams and Head Office.
- Review, recommend and approve loans as per defined credit policies.
- Conduct area surveys, peer performance checks and negative-area reviews.
- Monitor high-risk Business Units and low-performing staff; implement corrective action plans.
- Partner with Business and Collections teams to address field-level issues and improve portfolio quality.
- Monitor compliance with bank policies, audit observations and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct field visits and monitor LSO/LSA/AM performance based on control reports and audit findings.
- Manage credit administration, staff training, guidance and performance monitoring.
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, transfers and infrastructure requirements.
- Track and consolidate MIS/data from AM-LS teams and report key issues to senior management.
- Monitor market and competitor trends and recommend best practices.
