Role Overview

We're looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to support deal execution, financial modeling, and strategic finance work. This is a remote position aligned to UK working hours, ideal for someone who has trained in a traditional IB, PE, or transaction advisory setting and is looking for a high-ownership role with global exposure.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company/precedent transaction analysis)
- Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client-facing presentations
- Conduct industry, market, and company research to support deal origination and execution
- Support due diligence processes for M&A;, fundraising, or strategic transactions
- Assist in valuation exercises across multiple methodologies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (legal, product, leadership) during live transactions
- Track deal pipelines, market trends, and competitor activity
- Prepare board decks, investor updates, and ad hoc financial analyses

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics,



Accounting, or a related field; CA and/or CFA qualification strongly preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking (bulge bracket, boutique, or advisory), transaction advisory, or corporate finance
- Demonstrated experience across M&A; advisory, capital raises, or credit/financing transactions, ideally sector-agnostic
- Strong proficiency in Excel/financial modeling and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of financial databases and research tools (e.g., FactSet, CapIQ, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters Eikon, AlphaSense)
- Solid grounding in valuation techniques and accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating across time zones
- High attention to detail and comfort working under deadline pressure

Good to Have

- Exposure to multiple sectors (industrials, healthcare, consumer, financial institutions, technology)
- Experience on cross-border or multi-geography transactions
- Prior exposure to tech, AI, or startup-focused transactions
- Experience working with UK/US-based clients or teams
- Familiarity with data rooms, CRM/deal-tracking tools
