About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate – Investment Due Diligence to support the evaluation of investment opportunities.

The role will involve conducting commercial, financial, operational, and business due diligence and providing analytical insights to support investment decisions.

You will work closely with the investment team to evaluate businesses, assess risks, analyse financial performance, and prepare recommendations for the Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial statements and business performance.

• Build and analyse financial models for investment evaluation.

• Conduct business and commercial analysis of potential investments.

• Perform industry research, market sizing, and competition benchmarking.

• Evaluate key business, financial, operational, and investment risks.





• Assess management teams and business fundamentals.

• Coordinate with legal, tax, compliance, and other advisors during the due diligence process.

• Prepare Investment Committee notes, investment memos, and analytical presentations.

• Support valuation and investment recommendation processes.

• Monitor portfolio companies and support post-investment analysis.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong understanding of financial statements and ratio analysis

• Business and commercial analysis

• Industry and market research

• Risk assessment and investment analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage transaction timelines

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are preferred:

• Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)

• Private Equity

• Venture Capital

• Investment Banking

• Transaction Advisory

• Big 4 Deal Advisory

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

• CFA

• MBA – Finance
