We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Windchill Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience in Windchill implementation, customization, and enterprise PLM solutions delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Windchill architecture, Java development, scripting, and PLM domain knowledge, along with excellent client-facing and leadership capabilities.

This role requires ownership of end-to-end technical deliverables, solution design, implementation leadership, mentoring team members, and active engagement with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

- Lead end-to-end Windchill implementation projects from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Analyze customer business requirements and design scalable, robust Windchill solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for implementation teams and ensure successful project execution.
- Own technical deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain build, deployment, and release management documentation.
- Create technical design documents, implementation strategies, and deployment plans.

Development & Customization

- Design, develop, and customize Windchill solutions using Java and scripting technologies.
- Implement and configure Windchill modules in accordance with business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Windchill environments.
- Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Develop comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Conduct Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist customers and business users during UAT activities and defect resolution.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and conduct peer reviews for technical deliverables.

Stakeholder & Client Management





- Participate in customer workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide technical recommendations.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global teams and customers across different geographies.

Team Leadership & Business Development

- Mentor, guide, and coach development teams to achieve project success.
- Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
- Support pre-sales activities, proposal creation, RFP responses, and solution estimations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Windchill implementation and customization.
- Strong expertise in Java Development and scripting technologies.
- Deep understanding of Windchill Architecture and PLM processes.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windchill PDMLink
- Windchill ProjectLink
- Experience with Windchill MPMLink is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software design lifecycle models, methodologies, and implementation frameworks.

Functional Skills

- Strong functional knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
- Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements for enterprise PLM implementations.
- Ability to design and recommend solutions for complex business challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proven experience leading technical implementation teams.
