Job Title: Manager – Process Design & Engineering (Sewage/Wastewater Treatment)About the RoleResponsible for end-to-end process engineering of sewage treatment plant (STP) projects, from tender study through commissioning support.ResponsibilitiesStudy tender documents thoroughly to understand technical, performance, and statutory requirements for sewage treatment schemesPrepare complete process design and sizing calculations for STPs based on prevailing technologies (SBR, MBBR, ASP, MBR, Oxidation Ditch, FAB, etc.)Develop Hydraulic Flow Diagrams (HFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;)Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, equipment specifications, and support commercial proposal preparationCoordinate with clients/consultants for approval of design basis, drawings, and all technical submissions; track and close review commentsLiaise with mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams to ensure design integrationProvide process support during detailed engineering, procurement, and construction stagesReview plant operations, troubleshoot process upsets, and recommend corrective/optimization measuresEnsure designs comply with CPHEEO manual, state pollution control board norms,



and other applicable Indian standardsQualificationsB.Tech/M.Tech in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering (Environmental Engineering preferred)8–15 years' experience in STP process design, with proven track record of large municipal sewage treatment projects in IndiaRequired SkillsStrong hands-on expertise in multiple treatment technologies (SBR, MBBR, ASP, MBR, UASB, FAB, tertiary treatment, sludge handling)Proficiency in process calculations, mass balance, hydraulic design, and sizing of treatment unitsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD (for HFD/P&ID; review), and design software/tools used in process engineeringFamiliarity with CPHEEO guidelines, CPCB/SPCB norms, and tender/bid documentation for government/municipal projectsExperience preparing techno-commercial proposals and BOQsStrong client interfacing and coordination skills for approvals and submissionsAnalytical and troubleshooting ability for operational process issuesGood communication and documentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teamsPreferred SkillsLocation: Head Office, PuneExperience: 8–15 Years (Water Industry / Industrial EPC)
