Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned, visionary leader to shape the future of our technology organization. This leader will drive enterprise-wide security strategy, architecture, and scale innovation.They will be responsible for executing The Hartford’s cybersecurity vision and strategies that align with business and regulatory requirements with an emphasis on resiliency, compliance, and secure-by-design. The leader will champion a high-performing team centered around continuous learning and agile practices. They must have the ability to effectively communicate and influence across the technology organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic vision and execution of The Hartford’s cybersecurity roadmap, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and regulatory frameworks while optimizing financial management and cost efficiency.Oversee the design, development and enhancement of scalable, secure architecture across cloud, SaaS, identify, AI and enterprise platforms and drive adoption of zero trust, secure integration and cloud-native security frameworks.Establish enterprise-scale vulnerability management and remediation programs by driving risk quantification, prioritization, and governance frameworks.Champion innovation and emerging technologies: Integrate AI, automation and advanced analytics to enhance decision making and customer experience.Drive Reliability Engineering adoption and maturity across the technology organization to improve system performance and uptime.Ensure robust IT governance and cybersecurity, including disaster recovery, data protection, and compliance with global regulatory standards.Develop strong partnership with CIO business units and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, CTO and business unit leaders to deliver scalable and secure cybersecurity solutions.Foster a culture of accountability and growth by building and empowering a top-performing team,



cultivating continuous learning and agile practices.Required Skills & Experience:15+ years of experience in a highly technical cybersecurity role, with at least 5 years of leadership experienceMust have 5 years of Program Management experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives in a matrix organization and managing global technology teams.Deep expertise in cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices, data engineering, identity and access management and cybersecurity.Expertise in insurance platforms, regulatory frameworks (IRDAI, NAIC, SOX), and enterprise architecture.Demonstrated success in driving DevSecOps and Reliability Engineering practices across technology organizations.Experience in enhancing service management capabilities, including incident, charge and problem management.Ability to drive observability and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.Proficiency in managing cost, schedule and performance of projects through metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to optimize resource utilization.Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive innovation, and deliver results in a highly matrixed, global organization.Ability to attract, motivate, and retain a sustainable IT core team through hiring, performance management, coaching and continuous development of talent.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders and across multiple levels of the organization.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC or equivalentNice to Have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field: advanced degree preferred.Experience with insurance platforms (e.G., Guidewire, Duck Creek)Experience integrating AI technologies into enterprise platforms to drive innovation and business value.Familiarity with Indian labor laws, SEZ regulations, and compliance frameworks relevant to GCC operations.What We OfferCollaborative work environment with global teams.Competitive compensation and comprehensive advantages.Continuous learning and growth opportunities in geospatial and risk analytics technologies.
