Function: Executive Education – Learning SolutionsLocation: Hyderabad, IndiaReporting To: Director – Learning SolutionsExperience: 9-15 yearsJob SummaryThe incumbent is responsible for the design and continuous enhancement of ISB’s programmes. The role focuses on shaping impactful learning experiences by aligning faculty expertise, market relevance, and evidence-based instructional practices. It requires collaboration across academic and internal teams to ensure each programme is pedagogically strong, contextually relevant, client and learner-centric.Key Responsibilities1. Programme Design & OwnershipLead the design of open programmes—from theme scoping and learning architecture to faculty alignment and post-programme review.Ensure each programme is anchored in clear learning outcomes, academic rigour, and executive relevance.2. Learning InnovationApply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.Integrate experiential pedagogies such as simulations, case discussions, peer learning, and reflective exercises.Maintain standardized templates, design tools, and content structures for quality and scalability.3. Faculty & Academic EngagementIdentify and align faculty based on programme themes and target audience needs.Facilitate design conversations and co-develop programme structure and flow with faculty.Collaborate with ISB’s Research Centres and Centres of Excellence to embed contemporary insights.4.
Learning Effectiveness & Continuous ImprovementReview feedback and programme data to assess learning effectiveness.Recommend refinements to content, structure, and pedagogy based on insights.Align designs with ISB’s academic quality and learning impact standards.5. Portfolio Strategy & RelevanceTrack industry trends and benchmark offerings against peer institutions.Recommend new programme themes and refresh existing ones to maintain relevance and differentiation.Ensure programme design intent is clearly articulated to internal stakeholders for effective outreach and positioning.6. Internal CollaborationShare structured learning design documentation—including outlines, outcomes, flow, and faculty briefs—with internal teams.Support internal teams in aligning on academic objectives, while remaining focused on design leadership.Contribute to knowledge sharing and design capability building within the Learning Solutions team.EducationPostgraduate degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Education, or related fields.ExperienceRelevant experience in executive education, L&D;, instructional design, or strategic consulting and client engagement expertise, with a robust focus on learning design for experienced professionals.Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in instructional design and adult learning theory.Strong academic and strategic orientation with attention to structure and flow.Effective stakeholder and faculty engagement.Analytical mindset to translate feedback into design improvements.Clear communication—written, verbal, and visual.Familiarity with blended, digital learning approaches and technologies.High ownership and commitment to quality and impact.
