As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a talented, motivated and detail-oriented Migration Agent Assistant to join our team and provide administrative and case-support services to our Australian Registered Migration Agents.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in migration, international education, legal services or qualified administration who is passionate about client service and looking to develop a long-term career within the Australian immigration industry.

About the Role

As a Migration Agent Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of our Australian Registered Migration Agents, providing administrative and case-support assistance across visa, skills-assessment and related matters.

Your responsibilities will include client-file administration, document management, preparation of draft forms and correspondence, client follow-ups, scheduling and general operational support.

Important: This is an administrative support position. The successful candidate will not independently provide immigration assistance, migration advice or legal advice unless separately authorised to do so under Australian law.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Migration Agent, you will:

- Collect, organise and maintain documents for visa and skills-assessment matters.
- Conduct initial administrative client intake and accurately record factual information.
- Create and maintain client files, file notes, checklists and compliance records.
- Enter client-provided information into draft forms for review and approval by the supervising Registered Migration Agent.
- Provide administrative assistance with Form 956, service agreements, authority forms, statements of services and related documentation.
- Prepare draft correspondence using approved templates and instructions.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding information and documentation.
- Communicate administrative updates and information approved by the Registered Migration Agent.
- Schedule consultations, appointments and follow-up activities.
- Monitor deadlines and bring important dates and outstanding matters to the attention of the Registered Migration Agent.




- Undertake administrative research as directed, without providing migration advice or substantive findings directly to clients.
- Liaise with clients, education providers and internal team members regarding administrative matters.
- Maintain accurate records using the company's client-management and document-management systems.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports and operational data using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy, record-keeping and internal company procedures.
- Refer all questions concerning visa options, eligibility, migration strategy, application risks or prospects of success to a Registered Migration Agent.
- Perform other reasonable administrative and operational duties as required.

All substantive immigration assistance, recommendations, representations and final application decisions will be provided or approved by a Registered Migration Agent.

Professional and Regulatory Boundaries

The successful candidate must understand and comply with the professional and regulatory boundaries applicable to an administrative support role.

Unless separately registered or otherwise legally authorised, the successful candidate must not:

- Provide immigration or legal advice.
- Recommend a visa type or migration pathway.
- Assess a client's visa eligibility or prospects of success.
- Interpret migration legislation, regulations or policy for clients.
- Independently prepare, finalise, approve or lodge visa applications.
- Make representations to the Department of Home Affairs or another authority as a migration agent.
- Quote or charge professional fees for immigration assistance.
- Represent themselves as a Registered Migration Agent.
- Use another person's Migration Agent Registration Number as their own.
- Provide substantive responses to migration-related enquiries without approval from the supervising Registered Migration Agent.

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, organised, reliable and highly attentive to detail.

The successful candidate will have:

- At least one year's experience in migration, international education, legal services, administration or a related professional environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.




- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong computer, file-management and document-management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data management and analysis.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively within clearly defined professional and regulatory boundaries.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
- A commitment to accuracy, ethical conduct and high-quality client service.
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career with a growing Australian immigration consultancy.
- Valid working rights in India.

Previous experience in Australian migration, international education or a related professional services environment will be highly regarded.
