Job Overview

This position is for an Integration & Yield Engineer at GlobalFoundries India center in Bangalore, supporting 200mm and 300mm wafer fabs in the US, Singapore, and Germany. The candidate will focus on electrical characterization, yield analysis, and production lot disposition to enhance product yield, line yield, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor electrical performance trends and disposition holds at electrical and sort tests.
- Support urgent fab operational issues and scrap investigations, and analyze process change review boards.
- Drive yield enhancement for multiple products by analyzing electrical parameter failures and data mining for root cause analysis.
- Develop and improve yield characterization and data analysis methods to quickly identify yield limiters and correlate them to in-line defectivity, metrology,



and electrical signals.
- Assist process module engineering activities with electrical tests, inline metrology, and yield analysis to improve cost, cycle-time, and manufacturing robustness.
- Provide clear, daily reporting and communication of issues to home teams.
- Be adaptable and ready to work weekend shifts on a rotational basis, as needed by business demands.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in the semiconductor/electronics industry (200mm/300mm wafer processes).
- Strong working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Structured Problem Solving (SPS) skills, and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods.
- Good understanding of semiconductor process technology and devices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a globally matrixed team.
- Organized, proactive, and excellent analytical skills, with on-time delivery of tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Scripting and coding skills (especially R and Python) are desirable.
