Job Summary
Experience on avamar/veeam/cohesity/networker and data domain management.
Experience on Quantum & IBM Tape Libraries
Supporting various production environments like windows, unix, linux, exchange, oracle and mssql
Basic understanding of Netapp filers.
Backup implementation of windows, linux and solaris clients.
Backup implementation of qtrees (netapp filers).
Performs restore of database, exchange, os.
Performs integrity restores of various applications/participate in ORTs.
L2 troubleshooting and Break/Fix of backup errors.
Documentation of best practices.
Day to day interaction with various support groups like db services, netbackup L3, wintel support , unix support, nas support & san support
Experience on netbackup/comvault/cohesity will be an added advantage
