About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Linux Developer to work on system-level software, performance-sensitive applications, and Linux-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C/C++, a solid understanding of operating-system concepts, and hands-on experience with multithreading, inter-process communication, networking, and debugging.

This role is well suited for an engineer who enjoys solving low-level technical problems and working close to the operating system.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain system-level software for Linux environments.
- Develop efficient software components using C and C++.
- Work with Linux APIs, system calls, processes, threads, and system resources.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, system operations, and development workflows.
- Implement concurrent and multithreaded applications where required.
- Work with POSIX APIs and Linux system-programming interfaces.
- Develop solutions involving inter-process communication mechanisms.
- Implement and troubleshoot network communication using TCP/IP and related protocols.
- Investigate system crashes, memory issues, race conditions, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Use tools such as GDB and GCC for development, debugging, and analysis.
- Create and maintain build processes using Makefiles or equivalent build systems.
- Work with embedded Linux platforms where applicable.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, application, and QA teams.
- Develop unit and integration tests for system-level components.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Use Git for source-code management and collaborative development.




- Support CI/CD automation for software builds and testing.
- Document technical solutions, system behavior, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of professional experience in Linux software development.
- Robust programming experience with C and/or C++.
- Good understanding of Linux operating-system fundamentals.
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux system programming.
- Experience with POSIX APIs.
- Strong understanding of processes, threads, synchronization, and multithreading.
- Practical experience with IPC mechanisms.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with Bash or other shell scripting.
- Proficiency with tools such as GCC, GDB, and Make.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with Git and standard software-development workflows.
- Good understanding of software testing and quality practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience developing for Embedded Linux platforms.
- Strong understanding of Linux kernel concepts.
- Experience with device-level or hardware-facing software.
- Knowledge of Python for automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems.
- Experience analyzing CPU, memory, and I/O performance.
- Understanding of Linux networking and socket programming.
- Exposure to cross-compilation and embedded build environments.
- Familiarity with system tracing and profiling tools.

Development & Engineering Expectations

You will be expected to contribute across the complete development cycle, including:

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
