Job Description

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging, learner-centric, and effective digital learning experiences for enterprise clients. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, project managers, visual designers, developers, multimedia teams, and other stakeholders to transform business and learning requirements into structured and engaging eLearning courses. The role will provide exposure to instructional design, storyboarding, eLearning authoring tools, LMS platforms, multimedia, assessments, interactive learning, and emerging AI-enabled content development approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze learning requirements, target audiences, and business objectives to define appropriate learning strategies.
- Design learning experiences aligned with defined learning objectives and learner needs.
- Develop course outlines, storyboards, scripts, and other instructional design documentation.
- Apply appropriate instructional design models and learning methodologies to course development.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather, validate, and structure content.
- Design assessments, knowledge checks, activities, and other learning interactions.
- Work with visual designers, multimedia developers, and eLearning developers to translate storyboards into final courses.
- Review developed courses to ensure alignment with approved storyboards, learning objectives, and quality standards.
- Incorporate stakeholder and client feedback and manage revisions effectively.
- Ensure courses are learner-friendly, logically structured, engaging, and consistent.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines and quality expectations.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, technologies, and best practices in digital learning and instructional design.

Required Skills

- 2–4 years of experience in Instructional Design / eLearning development.




- Robust understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Practical experience with instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or similar frameworks.
- Experience creating storyboards, course outlines, learning objectives, assessments, and scripts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent content structuring, writing, and editing skills.
- Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex information and convert it into clear and learner-friendly content.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables within timelines.
- Basic understanding of LMS platforms and digital learning environments.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

- Experience working on enterprise eLearning projects.
- Experience with LMS platforms and SCORM-based courses.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for digital learning.
- Understanding of microlearning and gamification.
- Experience with multimedia, video, animation, or audio-based learning content.
- Basic graphic design or visual communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content development, scripting, voice generation, or multimedia creation.
- Experience working with international clients or multi-language learning projects.
- Basic understanding of project management and Agile ways of working.
