Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance & E-commerce Accounts Executive to support the company's finance and accounting functions, with a key focus on e-commerce accounting, reconciliations, MIS reporting, GST & TDS compliance, statutory compliances, and preparation of financial statements.

The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, good command over Excel and Tally, and the ability to independently handle reconciliations, reporting, and routine compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

· Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

· Maintain and review sales, purchase, expense, receipt, payment, and journal entries.

· Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.

· Ensure proper accounting of provisions, accruals, outstanding expenses, prepaid expenses, and other adjustments.

· Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.

· Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate for timely resolution.

E-commerce Accounting & Reconciliation

· Handle accounting and reconciliation of sales through various e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.

· Reconcile e-commerce sales with marketplace reports, settlement statements, and bank receipts.

· Verify marketplace deductions including commissions, logistics charges, payment gateway charges, discounts, returns, refunds, and other deductions.

· Monitor marketplace receivables and identify pending settlements and unreconciled differences.

· Prepare regular e-commerce reconciliation statements and follow up for resolution of discrepancies.

· Coordinate with the e-commerce and operations teams regarding accounting and settlement-related issues.

MIS & Reporting

· Prepare regular MIS reports for management review.

· Prepare sales, purchase, expense, receivable, payable, cash flow, and profitability-related reports.

· Prepare monthly P&L; and other financial analysis as required.





· Prepare variance analysis and highlight significant deviations.

· Maintain and improve Excel-based MIS and reconciliation formats.

· Provide accurate financial data and analysis to support management decision-making.

GST Compliance:

· Prepare GST workings and assist in timely filing of GST returns.

· Perform regular reconciliation between books of accounts, GST returns, and relevant transaction data.

· Verify input tax credit and output GST liability.

· Review GST-related ledgers and identify discrepancies.

· Assist in GST reconciliation, notices, assessments, and other compliance requirements.

TDS & Statutory Compliance:

· Calculate and ensure timely deduction and payment of TDS.

· Prepare TDS workings and assist in timely filing of TDS returns.

· Reconcile TDS ledgers with challans and returns.

· Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

· Maintain statutory compliance records and supporting documents.

· Assist in responding to statutory notices and queries in coordination with consultants.

Financial Statements & Audit:

· Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Prepare schedules and supporting workings required for financial statement preparation.

· Assist in year-end closing activities and audit finalization.

· Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documents to auditors.

· Coordinate with auditors and consultants for routine accounting and audit requirements.

· Ensure books and supporting records are maintained in an audit-ready manner.

Key Requirements Experience & Skills:

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.





· Experience in e-commerce accounting and reconciliation will be preferred.

· Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

· Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.

· Experience in MIS preparation and financial reporting.

· Good understanding of reconciliations and financial data analysis.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

· Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

· Good knowledge of Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, SUMIFS, data reconciliation, and MIS preparation.

· Ability to work with large volumes of financial and e-commerce transaction data.

· Strong attention to detail while reviewing accounting and reconciliation data.

· Ability to identify discrepancies and follow up for closure.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA Inter / CA Dropout / CMA Inter or relevant professional qualification will be preferred.
