JOB SUMMARY

Catalyst Education is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead business growth and sales operations in the Calicut region. The ideal candidate should have strong EdTech sales experience, leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Calicut market.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and admission targets.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Generate current business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to admission closure.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, institutions, and strategic partners.
- Monitor lead pipelines, conversion rates, revenue, and team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Identify market trends and competitor activities.




- Coordinate with Marketing, Academic, and Operations teams to maximize conversions.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management.

REQUIREMENTS

- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales.
- EdTech experience preferred.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Target-driven, analytical, and result-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of the Calicut market is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
