- Grievance Handling: Investigating and resolving staff grievances, disciplinary matters, and interpersonal conflicts promptly and fairly.
- Customer Service & Escalation: Leveraging experience to handle high-stakes complaints, often serving as the liaison between employees and higher management/ombudsmen.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensuring all grievance redressal procedures adhere to regulatory guidelines, labor laws, and internal bank policies.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing grievance trends using data to provide insights and reports to senior management for process improvements.
- Stakeholder Management:
Coordinating with internal departments and HR teams to ensure consistency in disciplinary actions.
- Policy Formulation: Developing, reviewing, and updating employee relations policies to align with the bank's culture and legal requirements.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Usually 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with customer service and Grievance Handling
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Solid communication, conflict resolution, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of labor law, employee relations best practices, and HR information systems.
