Hiring | Assistant Manager – Sourcing / Vendor Development

hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Sourcing / Vendor Development to join our team.

We are looking for professionals with 5–10 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, or Vendor Development, preferably from the Automotive / Auto Components industry. Candidates with strong Fastener industry experience will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop recent suppliers for automotive components and fasteners.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiations, and supplier finalization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, Capacity, and Technical requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in QCD.
- Develop alternate sources to minimize supply risks and ensure continuity.
- Work closely with Procurement, Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Track market intelligence, supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and sourcing opportunities.




- Ensure sourcing and vendor development activities comply with organizational quality and procurement requirements.

Candidate Profile

- 5–12 years of relevant experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Purchasing / Vendor Development.
- Experience in the Automotive / Auto Components industry.
- Fastener industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive components and supplier manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, cost analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers and sourcing requirements.
