HY India Pune Full time R8316 **Job Title** Procurement Engineer-II **Job Category** Supply Chain Management **Job Description** **Job Profile:-** + Capability Assessment of Recent and Existing Suppliers: Development of Global and Regional Sourcing Strategies with them. + Supply Base Performance: identification & Selection of suppliers that meet criteria to support HYG's objectives for quality, delivery, cost. + Sourcing strategies that support corporate objectives. + Manage the business relationship with allocated suppliers to support HYG. + Negotiation and multi-year pricing agreements with suppliers. + Cost Management (Cost Planning + Cost Control): Negotiation and approval of supplier proposals, pricing, terms and conditions. + Formulate strategies and implement corrective action plans for quality & delivery issues. + Negotiate and arbitrate final resolution of problems arising between suppliers and HYG plants, product development centres and departments (Accounting, Logistics, etc.). + Supply Base Management: Proactive re-sourcing of materials or supplier replacement when plant performance is adversely affected. + Manage tooling budget to support new product development and cost reduction programs. + Material planning and coordination with internal & external stakeholders + Advance analytics- hand on experience in power BI , use of Ai techniques etc **Key Skills & Qualifications** **:** + Minimum degree qualified in a bachelor's preferred.
