Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end purchase activities for the Derma PCD Division.
- Source and develop reliable vendors/manufacturers for derma products, formulations, and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for product availability, quotations, rates, MOQs, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms to ensure competitive procurement.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, vendor records, and purchase-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Marketing, Production, QA, Stores, and Accounts teams regarding product requirements and shortages.
- Track pending purchase orders and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Compare vendor quotations and identify cost-effective purchasing options.
- Maintain proper records of suppliers, products, rates, lead times, and purchase history.
- Handle urgent product requirements and resolve procurement-related issues efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; B.Pharm/D.Pharm/MBA (Supply Chain/Purchase) will be an advantage.
- 1–4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Purchase/Procurement, preferably in PCD/Derma.
- Good knowledge of pharma products, manufacturers, vendors, and procurement processes.
- Solid negotiation, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase-related software/ERP.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
- Candidates with existing pharma manufacturer/vendor contacts will be preferred.
