Dunamis School of Music is looking for a passionate and experienced Freelance Online Carnatic Vocal Music Instructor to conduct engaging and structured online classes for students.
The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of Carnatic vocal music, including fundamental lessons, swaras, ragas, talas, devotional songs, keerthanas, and other age-appropriate learning materials. The instructor should be able to teach students at beginner and intermediate levels through interactive online group sessions.
Teaching Requirements
- Conduct online group Carnatic vocal music classes
- 2 sessions per week
- Each session will be 1 hour
- Total teaching commitment: 2 hours per week
- Group size: Approximately 3–5 students
- Preferred teaching days:
- Monday & Thursday
- Tuesday & Friday
- Wednesday & Saturday
- Preferred evening time slots:
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured and engaging online Carnatic vocal classes.
- Teach students according to their age and learning level.
- Guide students in voice training, swaras, ragas, talas, songs, keerthanas,
and basic Carnatic music concepts.
- Encourage students to practice regularly and monitor their progress.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism during all sessions.
- Create a positive, motivating, and enjoyable learning environment.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Carnatic Vocal Music.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to teach children and students in an online group setting.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Access to a stable internet connection and a suitable device for conducting online classes.
- Candidates with music certifications, performance experience, or formal training will be preferred.
Compensation
- Revenue Sharing: 50%
- Student fees start from ₹2,000 per student per month.
- Classes will generally have approximately 3–5 students per batch.
