Job Description

This role will support one of Acuity’s buy-side clients in managing securities and derivatives trade operations, with a primary focus on the settlement of bonds, equities, CDS, IRS, swaps and futures.

Monitor the full trade matching, confirmation and settlement lifecycle for securities, including bonds and equities, and derivatives.

Process and monitor derivative transactions, including credit default swaps (CDS), interest rate swaps (IRS), cross-currency swaps, equity swaps, total return swaps and futures.

Coordinate with counterparties, custodian banks, prime brokers and executing brokers to ensure timely and accurate settlement.

Investigate and resolve unmatched, mismatched, missing and failed trades across securities and derivatives.

Escalate material, aged or time-sensitive settlement issues to the client with transparent status updates and proposed resolutions.

Review trade details, allocations, confirmations, settlement instructions,



resets, rolls and maturity events for accuracy and completeness.

Monitor position and cash breaks, perform root-cause analysis and track exceptions through resolution.

Monitor sensitive transactions, cross trades, clearing-broker transfers and settlement-funding requirements.

Knowledge of bonds, equities and listed and OTC derivatives, including CDS, IRS, swaps and futures.

Understanding of trade matching, confirmation, allocation, clearing, settlement and reconciliation.

Strong analytical skills to investigate trade, position and cash breaks.
