About the Role

HeapTrace is hiring five Full Stack Engineers for our delivery teams in Pune. You will own features end-to-end—from the data model through to the screen—deploying them and taking accountability when issues arise. You will participate in direct client calls to gather requirements without intermediate layers. AI tooling is integrated directly into our daily workflows.

What You Will Do

- Build features across the frontend and backend, from database schemas to user interfaces.
- Take complete ownership of design, code, unit testing, deployment, and post-production bug fixes.
- Join client calls directly to gather requirements, answer technical queries, and explain trade-offs.
- Utilize AI tools daily for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and documentation while maintaining full responsibility for the final output.
- Perform code reviews and collaborate closely with team members.
- Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and basic monitoring within project cloud environments.
- Estimate and break down tasks accurately, flagging potential delays early.

Technology Stack

- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, or Angular
- Backend: Node.js, Python (Django), or Java
- Database: SQL or NoSQL (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- AI Tooling: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor

What We Are Looking For

- 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proven depth in at least one frontend framework and one backend framework.
- Practical experience in database schema design, query optimization, and handling data volume.




- Direct experience with cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and basic application monitoring.
- Active use of AI coding assistants with sound judgment on code quality.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills for client-facing interaction.
- Track record of taking at least one project end-to-end.
- Valuable to Have: Docker or Kubernetes, deep TypeScript knowledge, automated testing practices, and experience maintaining long-running codebases.
