Description

We are hiring a Lead Java Engineer with experience to design, develop, and lead scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on development, architectural leadership, and team mentorship in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot Lead microservices and event-driven architecture initiatives
- Perform code reviews and drive best engineering practices, testing, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams for solution delivery
- Mentor developers and support Agile delivery processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes




- Ensure security and compliance standards are followed

Requirements

- 6–8 years of Java development experience with 2+ years in a lead role
- Strong expertise in Java 8/21, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, JUnit, and Mockito
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and distributed systems
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bangalore Corporation Building, Bengaluru, Karnataka
