Senior / Lead Graphic Designer
Company: DJRS Hospitality LLP
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3–5+ Years
Industry Preference: Hospitality / Food & Beverage / Restaurants / Lifestyle / Consumer Brands
About DJRS Hospitality
DJRS Hospitality LLP is a growing hospitality company building distinctive restaurant, café, cloud kitchen, catering, and experiential concepts across Mumbai.
Our portfolio includes concepts such as Amaru, our Japanese–Peruvian fine-dining destination, What's Your Plan?, our vibrant socio-bar, and our growing portfolio of food and beverage concepts, including Zilch, our upcoming premium all-day dining café in Breach Candy.
Each concept has its own personality, audience, atmosphere, and visual world.
And we're looking for someone who can bring all of that to life.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior / Lead Graphic Designer who can take ownership of the visual identity and creative output across the DJRS Hospitality portfolio.
This isn't a role where you'll simply be given a brief and asked to "make a post."
You'll work closely with the Marketing and Leadership teams to understand the personality of each concept, translate campaigns and ideas into compelling visual communication, and build a consistent yet distinctive visual language across our brands.
We're particularly looking for someone who understands food aesthetics — someone who knows that the right crop of a dish, typography, composition, colour palette, texture, and visual treatment can make someone stop scrolling and think:
"I need to try this."
You'll have the opportunity to work across restaurant launches, campaigns, menus, social media, events, brand collaterals, photoshoots, digital marketing, and much more.
What You'll Own Creative Direction & Brand Identity
- Lead the visual direction for DJRS Hospitality and its individual brands.
- Develop and maintain strong visual identities that reflect the personality and positioning of each concept.
- Create brand guidelines, visual systems, templates, and creative frameworks where required.
- Ensure consistency across digital, print, in-restaurant, and promotional touchpoints.
- Bring fresh creative thinking to strengthen the visual presence of our brands.
Food & Hospitality Design
- Develop visually compelling creatives that showcase food, beverages, restaurants, experiences, and lifestyle.
- Understand food photography and work closely with photographers and videographers to create solid visual assets.
- Develop creative treatments that make food and hospitality content feel premium, desirable, and on-brand.
- Understand the importance of lighting, composition, colour, texture, typography, and visual hierarchy in food marketing.
Digital & Social Media
- Design high-quality creatives for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, digital advertising, and other platforms.
- Develop creative concepts for Reels, carousels, stories, campaigns, launches, and promotional content.
- Work closely with the Social Media and Marketing teams to translate content strategies into visually engaging executions.
- Stay updated with design trends, social media formats, visual culture, and emerging creative styles.
Campaigns & Marketing
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, events, festivals, menu launches, and brand activations.
- Translate marketing objectives into strong visual campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas rather than simply executing briefs.
- Create campaign identities and visual systems that can be adapted across different touchpoints.
Brand Collaterals
- Design menus, brochures, flyers, standees, posters, packaging, signage, invitations, merchandise, and other brand collateral.
- Prepare artwork according to printing and production specifications.
- Work with vendors and production partners when required to ensure accurate execution.
Photoshoots & Content Production
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, social media professionals, and marketing teams during content shoots.
- Provide creative direction and visual references for food, lifestyle, and brand shoots.
- Assist in developing shot lists, mood boards, compositions, and visual treatments.
- Edit and retouch images where required.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably with experience in hospitality, F&B;, restaurants, cafés, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating branding, social media, campaign design, and visual storytelling.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Good working knowledge of Canva and other digital design tools.
- Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or other video tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Understanding of digital and print production requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands and projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual execution.
The Designer We're Looking For
We're not looking for someone who simply knows Photoshop.
We're looking for someone who understands why a design works.
Someone who can walk into a restaurant, understand its atmosphere, look at its food, identify its audience, and translate that entire experience into a visual language.
You should be:
- Creative — you bring ideas to the table.
- Curious — you actively explore what's happening in design, culture, food, and social media.
- Detail-oriented — because the smallest details can change the way a brand feels.
- Commercially aware — beautiful design is great, but design that drives attention and business is even better.
- Collaborative — you enjoy working with marketers, chefs, photographers, videographers, and operations teams.
- Hands-on — you're comfortable taking an idea from a rough thought to a finished creative.
- Brand-conscious — you understand that every menu, Instagram post, poster, and photograph contributes to how a guest perceives a brand.

You'll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping how multiple DJRS concepts look, feel, and communicate.
Work With Food, Design & Culture

Be Part of the Action
You'll have opportunities to participate in photoshoots, restaurant launches, campaigns, events, and content production.
Grow With DJRS
As the DJRS portfolio expands, there is significant opportunity to grow into a larger creative leadership role and build a team around you.
