As a Business Analyst in the Analytics team, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define, document, prioritize, and support analytics and reporting requirements. You will work closely with business users to understand objectives, terminology, client specific needs, and operational workflows, then translate them into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data/reporting specifications, and solution documentation for development teams. This role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent written and verbal communication, disciplined requirement tracking, and a techno functional mindset to support analytics products through delivery, go live, and post production support.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11AM to 8pm

Key job responsibilities:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Equivalent hands on experience in business analysis, product analysis, analytics delivery, reporting, or data driven technology programs will also be considered.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or techno functional analyst supporting analytics, reporting, dashboarding, data, or enterprise technology products.
- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and prioritize requirements across multiple workstreams, products, clients, releases, and enhancement requests.
- Act as the liaison between business users and development teams by translating business terminology, operational processes, and client specific needs into clear functional requirements and technical ready specifications.
- Create and maintain high quality documentation including business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping notes, reporting specifications, meeting notes, decision logs, traceability matrices, support runbooks, and release documentation
- Track requirements, assumptions, dependencies, risks, open questions, decisions, and client specific variations in a structured and auditable manner.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, walkthroughs, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning discussions, demos, user acceptance testing coordination, and go live readiness conversations.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, QA teams, product owners, platform teams, and business users to ensure solutions meet business objectives, data quality expectations, security considerations, and delivery timelines.
- Support analytics and reporting products after go live by triaging production issues, gathering impact details, coordinating with technical teams, communicating status to stakeholders, and documenting resolutions and lessons learned.
- Understand and document data sources, KPIs, reporting logic, business rules, filters, access/security requirements, and downstream impacts for dashboards, reports, and analytics products.




- Contribute to Agile delivery practices by maintaining backlogs, supporting prioritization, clarifying requirements during development, validating delivered functionality, and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Promote strong documentation, data quality, secure delivery, and software development lifecycle practices across analytics initiatives.
- Solid experience in end to end business analysis, including requirement elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, prioritization, traceability, and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with multiple business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, data engineers, and support teams.
- Ability to understand business terminology, client specific processes, operational workflows, KPIs, and reporting needs, and translate them into clear requirements for technical teams.
- Strong documentation skills, including experience preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping documentation, meeting notes, decision logs, and support documentation.
- Ability to manage and track multiple requirements, enhancements, defects, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder follow ups across parallel projects or releases.
- Experience supporting reporting, dashboarding, analytics, data, or enterprise application projects in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts, with the ability to understand data structures, joins, filters, business rules, data validation, and reconciliation logic.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, SSRS, Bold Reports, Tableau, or Power BI, including the ability to discuss dashboard/reporting requirements with business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving ability, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast paced workplace.
- Understanding of data quality, data governance, access/security considerations, Agile delivery practices, and secure software development lifecycle concepts.
- Hands on or working exposure to QlikView, Qlik Sense, SSRS, Bold Reports, Tableau, Power BI, or similar enterprise reporting and dashboarding platforms.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, validation, or analytics support activities.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data platforms such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, and related analytics or integration services.
- Exposure to lakehouse and modern data platforms such as Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, or similar cloud native data ecosystems.




- Awareness of messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka and their role in data integration or event driven architectures.
- Understanding of API concepts, ETL/ELT processes, data lineage, metadata management, and dashboard/report performance considerations.
- Exposure to GenAI, conversational analytics, AI assisted search, machine learning concepts, prompt engineering, or practical AI/ML use cases in analytics products.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools for backlog management, requirements tracking, documentation, and release coordination.
- Experience supporting production analytics products, including incident triage, root cause coordination, stakeholder communications, release notes, and post go live hypercare.
- Exposure to tax, global mobility, payroll, compliance, or professional services domain terminology and business processes.
