Job Summary

L2 – Cloud Security Analyst (CSPM) Role Summary: The L2 CSPM Analyst is responsible for analyzing cloud configuration risks, monitoring alerts from CSPM tools, and executing remediation tasks as per standard operating procedures. This role acts as the second line of defense, escalating complex issues to the L3 SME team. Key Responsibilities: Review and triage CSPM alerts across Azure, AWS, GCP platforms. Analyze misconfigurations and vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure. Remediate low- and medium-risk issues with guidance from runbooks. Escalate critical or complex security incidents to L3. Support compliance assessments (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) using CSPM tools. Maintain accurate documentation for incidents and remediation steps. Work with DevOps/Cloud Engineering for policy enforcement and cloud hygiene. Assist in regular reporting and dashboard maintenance for CSPM coverage.
