Key Responsibilities:

Analysis & Design

- Assist Analyst Testers in creating user story definitions and acceptance criteria.
- Define underlying design solutions within the scope of features/user stories.
- Ensure solutions are well-defined, fit-for-purpose, and meet end-to-end business requirements.
- Provide solutions and recommendations for technical issues, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Design and build APIs and external system interfaces for integration with FNZ products and third-party applications.

Development

- Translate complex financial business requirements into high-transaction, high-availability, secure systems.
- Design and build intuitive user interfaces and interactive financial tools for advisers and investors.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are considered: performance, security, maintainability, and reusability.
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure robust and compliant solutions.
- Build medium-complexity features end-to-end.
- Continuously develop understanding of FNZ business platforms.

Quality & Best Practices

- Follow code management procedures, coding standards, naming conventions, and security standards.
- Write automated unit tests and perform manual testing to ensure system quality.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and best practices.





Technology & Innovation

- Stay updated with industry practices, tools, and technologies; propose adoption of suitable innovations.
- Resolve technical issues that impede development progress.
- Develop novel solutions incorporating cutting-edge technologies or generic concepts.

Experience & Qualifications:

Primary Requirements:

- First-class bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Independent, self-directed, and confident in a rapid-paced delivery environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic industry requirements.
- Experience with one or more programming languages.
- Participation in end-to-end software product deliveries.

Secondary Requirements (Preferred):

- Experience with Microsoft .NET, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, SQL Server, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery.
- Familiarity with legacy technologies (ASP.NET MVC, VB.NET, older .NET Framework versions).
- Experience with web development and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with financial products and markets.
- Experience with code analysis and automated testing tools.
