Decorpot is seeking a skilled Python Full-stack Developer to join our dynamic team as a Junior Software Development Engineer. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions that drive our cutting-edge interior design business. If you have foundational experience in Python development, a solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms, and hands-on exposure to PostgreSQL and AWS, we invite you to work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements effectively.
- Implement optimized backend services and APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
- Manage and fine-tune databases using PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews, write comprehensive tests, and ensure overall code quality.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure software stability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the industry.

Skills
- Technical Skills:




- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (preferably Aurora PostgreSQL).
- Working knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Django, and Flask frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
- Knowledge of SketchUp or similar interior design tools (optional).
- Familiarity with Canvas (preferred).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proven ability to deliver projects successfully.
- A strong portfolio of Python projects.
- AWS familiarity or certifications is a plus.
