Store Keeper / Store Executive - Svenska Design Hotel, Andheri West

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily hotel store operations and maintain accurate physical and system stock records.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials as per approved requirements.
- Maintain stock levels, conduct physical verification, and reconcile inventory.
- Monitor expiry dates and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures to minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and other departments.
- Maintain records of receipts, issues, returns, and stock movements.
- Prepare regular stock and inventory reports.
- Handle ordering, receiving, unloading, shelving, labeling, and issuing of materials and equipment.
- Identify and manage surplus, damaged, expired, or obsolete stock.
- Ensure proper stock control, cost containment, and a clean and organized store.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Skills & Attributes

- Strong organizational skills and accurate record keeping.
- Good communication skills in English with the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- Good numerical,



stock management, and basic problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and hotel inventory/store software.
- Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO, food storage practices, hygiene, and FSSAI storage guidelines.
- Physically fit to handle stock movement, lifting, and cold storage areas safely.
- Reliable, honest, disciplined, responsible, detail-oriented, and productive.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualification Criteria

- Graduate / Diploma preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper or Store Assistant in a hotel, restaurant, or QSR.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and store operations.
- Age: Below 30 years.
