STAFF NURSE – PROJECT (CONTRACT BASIS) Organization: Samarpan Foundation Trust Affiliation: Rashtriya Sewa Bharti Institutional Collaboration: Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi Project Duration: 18 Months Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based Project Location: Health Camps across India – 10 States Travel: Pan-India travel as per project requirements Food & Travel: Provided by the organization About the Project Samarpan Foundation Trust, a registered NGO affiliated with Rashtriya Sewa Bharti, in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, is inviting applications for the position of Staff Nurse – Project for an 18-month healthcare project. The project involves participation in healthcare camps and community-based screening activities across 10 states of India. The initiative includes activities under the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), along with “Jan Jan Jage, Cancer Bhage”, a cancer-awareness and screening initiative launched by Samarpan Foundation Trust. Key Responsibilities - Provide nursing care and support during health camps conducted across different states. - Assist medical teams in community-based health screening and awareness programmes. - Perform blood sample collection/phlebotomy safely and efficiently. - Assist with sample handling, labelling, documentation and transportation according to project protocols. - Conduct and assist in viral monitoring and related screening activities as assigned. - Monitor and record vital signs and other relevant clinical parameters. - Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during screening camps. - Identify patients requiring further medical evaluation and facilitate appropriate referral. - Provide health education regarding disease prevention, hygiene, cancer awareness and other public-health initiatives.



- Maintain accurate patient records, camp registers and project documentation. - Follow infection-prevention and control practices, biomedical-waste management and safety protocols. - Maintain confidentiality of patient information. - Participate in travelling health camps and community outreach activities across the assigned states. - Perform other nursing and project-related duties assigned by the medical/project team. Essential Requirements - B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution. - Valid nursing registration with the appropriate State Nursing Council. - Candidates should be comfortable with blood sampling/phlebotomy. - Candidates should be comfortable participating in viral monitoring and community screening activities. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently as well as as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. - Willingness to travel extensively across India for health camps. - Ability to work in community and camp-based healthcare settings. - Candidates with previous experience in hospital nursing, community health, health camps, oncology, infection control or public-health projects will be preferred.
