We are looking for a skilled CNC Turning Operator for our Tool Room department with hands-on experience in operating CNC Turning machines with Siemens control. The candidate should have good knowledge of tool setting, job setting, machining operations, and dimensional inspection.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC Turning machines with Siemens CNC Control.
- Set and operate CNC turning machines as per drawings and job requirements.
- Perform tool setting, tool offset setting, work offset and tool change.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds and feeds.
- Carry out roughing, finishing, threading, grooving, drilling and boring operations.
- Perform component inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Identify and correct machining issues such as tool wear, dimensional variation and surface defects.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to the Tool Room Incharge.
- Follow production schedules and complete jobs within the required time.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S, Safety and Quality procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, inserts and measuring instruments.
- Maintain machine and job-related records as required.

Required Skills

- Good hands-on experience in CNC Turning Machine Operation.
- Robust knowledge of Siemens CNC Control.




- Knowledge of CNC turning tools, inserts and tooling selection.
- Ability to understand 2D mechanical drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of G-Code / M-Code and basic CNC programming is preferred.
- Knowledge of cutting parameters, RPM, feed and depth of cut.
- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and tooling problems.
- Knowledge of Tool Room / Mould Component machining will be an added advantage.

Quality & Safety Responsibilities

- Ensure all components are manufactured according to drawing specifications.
- Follow inspection procedures and maintain required quality standards.
- Use PPE and follow all machine safety procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized work area as per 5S standards.
- Prevent machine damage, tool breakage and material wastage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

- Component dimensional accuracy.
- Productivity and machine utilization.
- Rejection and rework percentage.
- Tool consumption and machine downtime.
- On-time completion of Tool Room jobs.
- Compliance with Quality, Safety and 5S standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A candidate with 2–5 years of experience in CNC Turning, particularly in Tool Room / Mould manufacturing, with strong practical knowledge of Siemens control, tool setting and precision machining will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,696.09 - ₹35,483.18 per month
