Climate Mitigation Portfolio Development

- Identify new business opportunities in India, South Asia, and Africa; develop leads and engage potential donors.
- Stay updated with sector trends, conduct outreach, generate reports, and present business development progress.
- Expand Climate Change and Sustainability portfolios, contribute to research on energy-economy modelling, policy analysis, just energy transition, climate resilience, and low-carbon technologies.
- Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and training sessions; act as a thought leader in energy finance and climate mitigation.
- Write high-quality technical proposals and contribute to financial proposal development.
- Build effective consortiums aligned with client goals and support team members in winning business.

Research and Programme Management
- Coordinate project teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Co-create alternate climate policy scenarios and support energy-economy modelling data analysis.
- Organize roundtables, policy dialogues, training, and outreach events; contribute to event documentation.
- Develop tools for climate action tracking and publish studies, roadmaps, and policy briefs on decarbonisation and just transitions.
- Drive the international portfolio for climate mitigation and energy finance.
- Track policy developments and trends; support hiring, project reporting, budgeting, and operations oversight.




- Share internal knowledge and build domain expertise across the ecosystem.

Leadership and Mentoring
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team of Analysts and Associate Managers.
- Assist in project budgeting and financial reporting.
- Support development of cross-sectoral climate change portfolios.
- Design and oversee field surveys and data collection efforts.
- Mentor junior team members and foster high team performance.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Climate Science, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or related fields.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in climate mitigation, energy systems, or sustainability roles.

Qualified Attributes:
- Proven experience developing commercial proposals for bilateral/multilateral donors and philanthropies.
- Experience working with government agencies and international development organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of satellite imaging and modeling tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience managing climate risk, adaptation, and mitigation projects.
- Strong team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Project management experience, including large project team coordination.
